Edqual was born from a simple observation — talented people everywhere, but quality education locked behind cost and geography. A small team of educators and technologists set out to change that.
We launched our first 20 courses in technology and business. Within months, over 1,000 students across Sri Lanka, South Asia, and Southeast Asia enrolled — validating the demand for accessible, quality online education.
Edqual introduced its AI-powered learning engine, enabling personalised course recommendations, adaptive assessments, and intelligent progress tracking — making Edqual more than a course catalogue.
We onboarded our first corporate training clients and signed university partnership agreements, extending the Edqual platform into institutions and enterprises looking to upskill at scale.
Edqual expanded to 42+ countries, added multilingual support including Sinhala, and crossed 30,000 active learners — with certification programmes now recognised by global employers.
